So Sentimental - Stamp Review Crew

Hello friends! Welcome to the first Stamp Review Crew Hop of 2021. This edition we are playing around with the So Sentimental stamp set. This is a great sentiment stamp set full of larger typeset images. I love this set and have made many projects using it.

For my cards today I paired So Sentimental with the Darling Donkeys stamp set. This first cards uses the “Sending Healing Hugs” sentiment. I changed it up to read “sending HEEHAW hugs”. This will be a fun card to send and hopefully get a chuckle.

FYI -Darling Donkeys is a Salebration set and can be earned with a 50$ purchase starting on Jan 5th.

This second card fairly simple - the sentiment says it all and the sitting donkey pushes it over the top.

Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Floral

Hello friends! Happy February. While I love January I am sure happy to be starting a new month.

The Creating Kindness team is hopping again. This month our theme is Florals. If I could choose a single image to stamp with it would be a flower. They are so pretty, unique and easy to create with. My card today is full of flowers. I created a shaker card filled with tiny beads. I’ve used the Dressed to Impress stamp set and the new So Sentimental Bundle.

The Flowers surrounding the greeting are colored using Stampin’ Blends. The Greeting has been heat set with black emboss powder for that little extra pop!

This card will be sent off to my Grandma (she loves purple) to thank her for a recent birthday gift. I think she will enjoy this interactive card.

Festival of Christmas - Last Minute

Hello again! Welcome to our last Crafty Festival Of Christmas blog hop. A refresher … I am making and sharing holiday projects every Friday until Christmas in an event my friends and I are calling the ‘CRAFTY Festival of Christmas’. Every week we will feature a different theme.

5. Last Minute Lucy

Neighbor gifts always seem to be the last project I tackle. This year I made a double batch of caramel and packaged in disposable case. I normally cut and wrap each caramel individually however due to lack of time I opted to give out containers full of caramel. Caramel recipe is at the end of this post. Yum!

Caramels - Mom's stovetop recipe

1 can Eagle Brand Milk
1.5 C. Light Karo Syrup
2 C. Sugar
1 Stick Butter (1/2 cup)
1 Stick(1/2 cup) imperial margarine
pinch of salt
1 tsp. Vanilla - add last right before you remove from heat.

• 1. Combine ingredients and slow cook to medium ball stage (about 1 hour). Stir constantly.

• 2. Do an ice water drop test to confirm firmness. Test with candy thermometer - Temperature approximately 230-240.

• 3. When finished add vanilla. Remove from heat and pour into a buttered 8x8 glass pan.

• 4. Let set for 1 day and cut into squares and package in was paper.
