Festival of Christmas - Last Minute

So Senitmental (2 of 3).jpg

Hello again! Welcome to our last Crafty Festival Of Christmas blog hop. A refresher … I am making and sharing holiday projects every Friday until Christmas in an event my friends and I are calling the ‘CRAFTY Festival of Christmas’. Every week we will feature a different theme.

Check out our previous hops:

  1. Snarky or Snowy cards

  2. Fancy fold or Mass production projects

  3. This week our theme is Gift card holders or tags

  4. I missed this one but you can start here

  5. Last Minute Lucy

Neighbor gifts always seem to be the last project I tackle. This year I made a double batch of caramel and packaged in disposable case. I normally cut and wrap each caramel individually however due to lack of time I opted to give out containers full of caramel. Caramel recipe is at the end of this post. Yum!

Yummilicious, such a funny non-word sentiment. This stamp image is from the stamp set called ‘So Sentimental’. This set will be available Jan 3 from Stampin’ Up! Full supply list can be found below.

Blog Roll:

1. Tania Cordie.
2. Tanya Boser
3. Linda Van Wely
4. Lynnea Hollendonner.
5. Charlet Mallett. (You are here)

If I had to pick one stamp set / bundle this would be it! Cup of Christmas bundle. I’ve used it so much this season. It’s really versatile and I love the big bold chunky look. Here is a new card I created for this TGIF Challenge. I plan to gift this card with a coffee gift card. Last minute FTW.

What’s your Holiday must have? Show us a project using your most favorite for this weeks TGIF Challenge. Check out the TGIFChallenges blog for more details and inspiration. Tag your projects #tgifc243 so the TGIF Challenges design team are sure to see them.

Fancy Friday Blog Hop - No White

The Fancy Friday design team has a doozy of a hop for you. Are you ready to be inspired by a bunch of projects that do not use any WHITE? No white paper, no white ink, nothing. It’s a challenge I tell ya. I pulled together shades of green to create a stripe color blocked background. I used the complimentary Blushing Bride to create the Thank You die cut. I stamped Flirty Flamingo on Blushing Bride for the flowers. The cluster of flowers are hand cut and embellished with a literal silver rhinestone. This card kind of unique and a little bit different for me. Here’s to trying out new things!

Thank You No white (2 of 2).jpg

Who are we? The Fancy Friday team is a group of talented Stampin' Up! Artisan's, both past and present. Ready to see more colorful projects? Next up is the amazing, fabulous and always fancy Elizabeth!

Floral Essence - Stampin' through the catalog

December 17, 2019
Floral Essence pinks (5 of 6).jpg

It’s a snow day around here so why not share a few projects that channel a bit of Spring? Floral Essence is bringing the joy.

First card uses masking to layer and create and abundant bouquet of flowers.

Second card is a little unique and features the matching pattern paper through the brick window. It’s an odd punch of color peeking through all those white bricks.

I adore cards with a floating backgrounds. They are so pretty! Here is a peek at how I created. First, I cut, colored, and assembled bunch of daffodil flowers. I popped up the flowers using dimensionals and arranged them around the greeting, trimming any excess off from around the edges. #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking cardmakingreels
