It’s a snow day around here so why not share a few projects that channel a bit of Spring? Floral Essence is bringing the joy.
First card uses masking to layer and create and abundant bouquet of flowers.
Second card is a little unique and features the matching pattern paper through the brick window. It’s an odd punch of color peeking through all those white bricks.
The Montage Montage crew is back today to share what we are working on.
Tomorrow my Grandma turns 89. This week I set out to make her a custom birthday card. Her favorite color is purple, it has been for as long as I can remember. I would love to visit her home as a child. She had a purple living room with white carpet and a purple couch that I just loved. Her piano room had purple shag carpet (gotta love the 70’s).
When I looked through my supplies I felt the Floral Essence stamp set and papers would make a beautiful card for her. I also used the Making a Difference stamp set for the numbers 89 and the xx for the HAPPY die. A full list of supplies can be found below. I hope she loves it.
This card has lots of dimension so I will need to hand deliver. Lucky for me I head to Utah soon and can gift it then. I’ll have to text her a photo tomorrow so she can see it on her big day.
