Bonanza Buddies - Shaker Birthday Card, Charlet Mallett - Stampin’ Up!

Hello kind friends. Happy May. These days feel short the month super long. Wow. How has your month been?

Do you own any animal stamps? The Creating Kindness team is hopping again sharing ideas with our animal sets.

I decided to create a birthday shaker card with the cute Koala animal from Bonanza Buddies. This set is adorable and I have had a lot of fun creating with it. Bonanza Buddies will be retiring at the end of this month so grab it before it’s gone ($17.00 USD)

Every month we invite someone to stamp with us. Our guest this month is Jess Collard and I can’t wait to see what she has created along with all of my other friends. Jess is next up on this hop. The full link up can be found below. Thanks for stopping by.

Graduation Cap Shaker Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Hello friends! Happy March. The Creating Kindness team is hopping again. This month our theme is Shaker Cards.

It’s a bit early to be creating Graduation cards but I just couldn't resist making a shaker card using the graduation cap from the Witty-cisms stamp set.

I am loving how the graduation caps fly through the air on this shaker card. I added small beads for a nice shaker sound and to help push those caps around.

Inside the shaker window I’ve created a sky background using Seaside Spray ink sponged on paper and then used Shimmery White embossing paste and the cloud mask to add a few shimmery clouds in the sky. Fun stuff!

Hello friends! Happy February. While I love January I am sure happy to be starting a new month.

The Creating Kindness team is hopping again. This month our theme is Florals. If I could choose a single image to stamp with it would be a flower. They are so pretty, unique and easy to create with. My card today is full of flowers. I created a shaker card filled with tiny beads. I’ve used the Dressed to Impress stamp set and the new So Sentimental Bundle.

The Flowers surrounding the greeting are colored using Stampin’ Blends. The Greeting has been heat set with black emboss powder for that little extra pop!

This card will be sent off to my Grandma (she loves purple) to thank her for a recent birthday gift. I think she will enjoy this interactive card.

Our guest this month is Sue Vine. I can’t wait to see what she has created along with all of my other friends, many of which will share how to ideas with their floral cards. The full link up can be found below. Thanks for stopping by.

Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Fancy Folds - Meant to Be

November 7, 2019

HELLO friends! Welcome to the Creating Kindness Around the World Hop. CREATING KINDNESS: We are a group of paper crafters from around the world who have come together to inspire you to create kindness through cardmaking and paper.

Meant to Be Heart Pop Up card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Meant to Be Heart Pop Up card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Our theme this month is Fancy Folds. I think any paper with a fold is pretty fancy because it instantly becomes a card. Ha! However for this hop I decided to add a little folded flair on the inside of my card. I’ve always loved pop-up books and interactive cards so I tried to incorporate a little 3D action to the card interior.

This little love note measures 4.25 x 5.5 when open and 4.25 x 2.75 when closed. This card features the Meant to Be bundle (stamp and dies). I used one of the larger heart dies from this bundle to create the pop up heart. I did this by only die cutting the middle section of the die so that both sides of the heart remain attached to the paper. Hard to explain in text. You can check out my video below for specific instructions.

Ready for more? Our Guest Designer this month is the super talented Sue and I am very excited to see what folded magic she has come up with for this hop.
