Welcome to the Above the Clouds Edition of Stamp Review Crew. What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month.

My card today features this fun set along with the new InColor Seaside Spray. This color is showcased in the papers, faceted dots and ink. The baker’s twine has been colored using the Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend, perfect color coordination!

Global Design Project - CASE Challenge - GDP200 - Above the Clouds

Hi friends. Can you believe the Global Design Project has been around for 200 challenges? Amazing! I’ve been lucky to participate a a designer since challenge 112. It’s such a pleasure to create cards for these challenges and truly such a reward to see your creations for each challenges.

This week we are CASEing this lovely card from Janneke De Jong. I loved the layout of this card and used that for the basis of my card. The stamp set I have used is called Above the Clouds. Trying to use ALL my Stampin Up! colors this year. I’ve pulled together some lesser used colors for this monochromatic look. I’ve used various orangey inks and stamped them off to give the softer pastel look. The swirls Embossing folder creates a fun swirly cloud look for the sky. Balloons - Global Design Challenge - GDP195

Balloons … thought balloons, hot air balloons and party balloons. Balloon is the theme for this week’s Global Design Project. I took the hot air balloon approach and used the stamp set ‘Above the Clouds’ to create this card.

I had a lot of fun stamping banners for the background. STAMP, stamp, stamp! This card really got a work out.

Bike Ride - Stamp Review Crew

Welcome to the Bike Ride edition of Stamp Review Crew. I really love this stamp set, do you? This set has served me well and I have created some fun projects with it. Stampin’ Up! has decided that this set will be discontinued on June 2. I’ve posted many of the projects that I’ve made with this set. Consider it a tribute. here’s a fond farewell … If you love it get it now!

My new project today is this cute pink card graduation card. The Bike Ride set is a BUILDER stamp set with so many images to stamp a BIKE scene. However the set includes ONLY images. For the sentiment I’ve paired the set with the new (coming June 4) Hot Air Balloon set called ‘Above the Clouds’. This card also features another NEW PRODUCT SNEAK: the Stitched Nested Label dies. Additional supplies can be found below.
