Monday Montage 171 & - Global Design Project - GDP254 - Press On

August 16, 2020

Hello friends! I’m combine two posts this week: Monday Montage & Global Design Project

The Monday Montage crew is a talented of LONG TIME Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. A quick refresher: the Montage gals host a blog hop every other Monday showing you fun and exciting Stampin’ Up! products. I’m trying to work on cards for the weekly challenges I participate in as I slowly dig out from under a sea of moving boxes. It’s proving difficult as I can't find even my most basic tool. Anyone seen my scoring tool? Don’t look too closely at my fold lines. Haha.

This week at Global Design Project (GDP) we are playing with a basic sketch. I used the Press On Stamp set and Gilded Autumn papers to create this fun coffee lover card.

All of the cards created with this sketch are fantastic. Check them out on the Global Design Project blog. You’ll be wowed! I am always impressed with my fellow Global Design Project Designers. Want to play along with us? Details on how to play along are on the GDP blog. If you make a project be sure to tag your project #gdp254 so we can see your work.

Next up on the Monday Montage Blog hop is Cheryl. I can’t wait to see what she is working on this week.

One color wonder - I stamped the little birdie image on coldpress watercolor paper in Golden Glow ink and then pulled that color through the images with a water brush. I love easy technique to quickly add color. Bird image & sentiment are from the Cutest Crew stamp set. #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking #cardmakingreels #cutestcrew

Punches for the win. I needed a graduation card so I used two punches from Stampin’ Up! To create the graduation cap. The cap tassle is created using baker’s twine. Modern Oval & Tailored Tag punch. #useyourstash #graduationcard #cardmakingreels
It's been weeks since I created a card and it felt good to sit down and make something. It's graduation season and cards are needed! I pulled together a few punches and the Bordered in Beauty bundle to create. This card works for two challenges this

I pulled together a few punches and the Bordered in Beauty bundle to create. This card works for two challenges this week. I'm playing along with @tgifchallenges color challenge using Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Smopky Slate.
