Carousel Birthday is the absolute perfect set to use for this weeks Global Design Challenge, Amusement Park. I've been up to neck in challenges lately but I haven't participated in a Global Design challenge in a while. Challenges are a fun and a great way to stay creative. This banner is super simple and uses minimal supplies, listed below.
It's time for another What Will You Stamp challenge. This week we are playing with Dragonfly Dreams.
My cards today use the large Dragonfly from this set as the primary image. I've paired with the Cupcakes and Carousels patterned paper for two very different looks.
Play along if you have this set. Hop on over to the WWYS blog to see all of the fabulous projects using this set.
Hello and welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Oh, So Succulent edition blog hop. If you are traveling in order you've just arrived from Betty Traciak and will move onto Kelly Kent after this. There are so many talented stampers in this hop, inspiration abound!
At first I struggled coming up with a card using this set. Stampers block I guess. To push through I stamped multiples of all of the succulents, colored them, and then die cut them out. I had a pretty large handful of paper succulents that I could play with and arrange.
I created a flower box on this first card using a small portion of the Hardwood background stamp. I added a couple of screw embellishments from the Urban Underground to finish it off.
Having these succulent pieces at the ready made it easier for me to create. It was like a little flower shop appeared in my craft room. If you like to arrange flowers this set is seriously for you.
This next Mother's Day card uses the basket from the basket builder framelits to create the container for the succulents. The paper doily was stained with Blushing Bride ink by pressing the doily directly into the ink pad and then letting dry. To soften the Mint Macaroon card stock I layered a small piece of Sending Love glassine sheet on top.
Who's ready for a THEME challenge? This week over at TGIF challenges the design team is exploring the theme BABY.
Now, we are super excited around here. A new baby will be joining our extended east coast family later this year. We have baby on the brain. We've been invited to a gender reveal party, my first. Gender reveals were not really a thing when I was having kids. However I'm all about another good reason to celebrate and make a card. Woohoo!
I made a congratulations baby card for this challenge. This card could work for either gender although it does feel a little more feminine the more I look at it. Maybe that's a sign? Hmmm.
For this card I used the Better Together stamp set from the Stampin' Up! catalog. The WELCOME phrase comes from the Vertical Garden stamp set that is available in the Occasions mini catalog.
Check out more beautiful baby project inspiration on the TGIF blog. Play along with us - anything baby related will work for this challenge; card, scrapbook papge, baby book, party favor, etc.
Are you guys ready for another fun What Will You Stamp challenge? This week we are sharing creations made with the Here for You stamp set. Here For You is a verse only set that works perfect with just about any image set. Today I've paired it with the Avant Garden stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog. There is only 2 more weeks of Sale-a-bration and then these free sets are gone forever. I'm a little sad.
Hop on over to the WWYS blog for more inspiration using this set. Thanks for stopping by.
