Purses, Poppies and Paris - One Stamp at a Time

A new year a NEW hop! Let me introduce you all to the One Stamp at a Time blog hop. These talented crafters have been creating projects (a card and non card) based on a certain theme since 2015. This hop happens once a month. I’m super excited to join this crew and hop with them every month (or when I can, lol).

This months theme is ‘Purses, Poppies and Paris.’ Basically all the great themes that are showcased in the new 2020 Jan - June Stampin’ Up! catalog.

I opted to used the purses portion of this theme and created my projects using the Dressed to Impress Bundle. This bundle has a darling “girlie” make up and shoes stamp set along with a coordinating die set that includes a PURSE! The fun thing about this purse is that it acts as a gift bag. I stamped coordinating tissue paper. The fun thing about this purse is that it acts as a gift bag.

The companion card is my favorite. Just the right balance of white space and busy pattern and the right amount of soft floral with a graphic black and white stripe.

I created a card and a fun purse bag that will be great to have on hand for a future birthday. A full list of supplies can be found below.

Monday Montage 155 - Birthday Bonanza

Happy New Year friends! The Montage Montage crew is back today to share what we are working on.

Have you heard of the Stampin’ Through the Catalog challenge? It’s a stamping challenge put together every Tuesday and Thursday by a few of the Stampin’ Up! concept artists. The goal is to showcase every single stamp set in the catalog. The chosen stamp set is determined chronologically by page number so you always know ahead of time what is coming up. While I don’t have most of the stamps from the catalogs, I do have a few and it’s nice to participate when I can. Tuesday the STTC team are featuring the Birthday Bonanza stamp set.

I decided to create a couple of quick cards that feature the Lion and Toucan from the stamp set. The matching Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Papers are adorable and is the focus on these cards. These were easy to make and I may end up making a few more for an upcoming card swap that I participate in.

The Monday Montage crew is a talented bunch. A quick refresher, the Montage gals host a blog hop every other Monday showing you fun and exciting Stampin’ Up! products.
