Above the Clouds - Stamp Review Crew

Welcome to the Above the Clouds Edition of Stamp Review Crew. What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month.

My card today features this fun set along with the new InColor Seaside Spray. This color is showcased in the papers, faceted dots and ink. The baker’s twine has been colored using the Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend, perfect color coordination!

TGIF Challenges: TGIFC223 - Color Challenge using Dino Days

We are on vacation this week but I did have time to sneak in a card for this week’s TGIF color challenge. FUN and bright colors call for a FUN and bright card. I decided to breaking out the new Dino Days stamp set to help me make this RAWRsome card. HAHA. It’s super fun but I will admit I had a hard time stamping these images. My ink pads are just too juicy. Crafter problems.

One cute detail on this card I wanted to point out … I used basic pinking shears to create a border to match the spike in the purple dino. Fun, fun! :)

Global Design Project - CASE Challenge - GDP200 - Above the Clouds

Hi friends. Can you believe the Global Design Project has been around for 200 challenges? Amazing! I’ve been lucky to participate a a designer since challenge 112. It’s such a pleasure to create cards for these challenges and truly such a reward to see your creations for each challenges.

This week we are CASEing this lovely card from Janneke De Jong. I loved the layout of this card and used that for the basis of my card. The stamp set I have used is called Above the Clouds. Trying to use ALL my Stampin Up! colors this year. I’ve pulled together some lesser used colors for this monochromatic look. I’ve used various orangey inks and stamped them off to give the softer pastel look. The swirls Embossing folder creates a fun swirly cloud look for the sky. A full list of supplies can be found below.
