TGIF Challenges: TGIFC223 - Color Challenge using Dino Days

We are on vacation this week but I did have time to sneak in a card for this week’s TGIF color challenge. FUN and bright colors call for a FUN and bright card. I decided to breaking out the new Dino Days stamp set to help me make this RAWRsome card. HAHA. It’s super fun but I will admit I had a hard time stamping these images. My ink pads are just too juicy. Crafter problems.

One cute detail on this card I wanted to point out … I used basic pinking shears to create a border to match the spike in the purple dino. Fun, fun! :)

DANO DINO 1st birthday - Global Design Project Color Challenge - GDP157

It’s so much fun to create a custom birthday card for someone specific. This card was created for our cousins 1st birthday. The family call him Dano Dino so the dinosaur themed card was evident. We celebrated Daniel last night with all sorts of fun dinosaur themed foods and decor.

This card uses the colors for this week’s Global Design Project #GDP157. This color palette is so pretty and would look amazing with fall themed cards.

This card also features three stamp sets: Birthday Backgrounds, Labeler Alphabet and No Bones About it (retired). I hand cut a number 1 from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Papers and built the card from there. Full supplies can be found below.

Pieces & Patterns, Pick a Pattern - Dinosaur Hello card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin' Up!

Pieces & Patterns is a super fun, cute and diverse stamp set. I've finally gotten around to playing with it a little bit and ended up making some cards perfect for the wee ones. These projects are for the kids! Dinos & critters, what more can I say.

Both cards use images hand cut from the Pick A Pattern designer series papers and paired with a cute sentiment from the stamp set.
