Free as a Bird - Global Design Sketch Challenge - GDP190

Here is my contribution to this weeks challenge using the upcoming ‘Free as a Bird’ stamp set and the Bird Ballad designer series papers. Both of these items along with the fun embellishments on this card are avialable for purchase starting June 4th.

The bird image has been colored using Stampin’ Blends. I have hand trimmed out the image using an Xacto-Knife. The card was assembled following this sketch closely.

Geared Up Garage - What Will You Stamp

Hi friends. It’s been a few weeks since I have stamped with the What Will You Stamp team but I just had to sneak in a project for this week. I love the Geared Up Garage collection and am so excited it will be sticking around for another year. I have gotten such great use out of this bundle!

My card today features two new InColors. New colors change the look of this product suite so much! Here I’ve used Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray.

Like that softer look on the car? I stamp the image in Pretty Peacock on watercolor paper and then colored in using a blender pen. The blender pen picks up the little ink that has been stamped and allows you to color in a shade or two. lighter.

I plan to use this card for father’s day and I also created a matching tag. Check out the WWYS blog to see more using this great stamp set. AND … see a bunch more of my creations below. Have a great day.

To a Wild Rose - Monday Montage 139

The Montage Montage crew is back today to share what we are working on. The Monday Montage crew is a talented bunch. A quick refresher, the Montage gals host a blog hop every other Monday showing you fun and exciting Stampin’ Up! products.

These are so many fantastic new floral images in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! catalog (contact me if you’d like a copy). I’m a fan of florals so bring them on! This card features the stamp set and dies from ‘To a Wild Rose’ bundle. It’ll be available June 4. I think the rose image in this stamp set somewhat mimics the look of the Sentimental Rose stamp image that came in the April Paper Pumpkin kit. If you are a fan of that kit this stamp set might be for you!

I’m busy prepping for a June craft fair so I am in cardmaking mode. MAKE MAKE MAKE! I’d better get back to it. Hope this card has inspired you today.

BTW - The colors in this card are Flirty Flamingo and Pear Pizazz. The watercolor lightens the Flirty Flamingo to give those nice shades of pink.

It Starts With Art - Global Design CASE Challenge - GDP189

Hello and welcome. Today I am sharing a super fun card I created for this weeks Global Design Project color challenge. The colors we are highlighting are Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana and Pineapple Punch. This card features the It Start with Art stamp set. A fast new favorite (available June 4).

The idea behind this card is messy desk. I wanted it to appear like layers of papers and pencils.
