Humming Along - Global Design Project COLOR Challenge - GDP169

I am in LOVE with the color combo for this week’s Global Design Project: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green and Pool Party. It just so happens that these three colors are available in Stampin’ Blends. That means coloring!

I pulled out a brand new stamp set to create this card. This set is called Humming Along and is available in the upcoming Occasions catalog (available Jan 5) This set includes beautiful line images perfect for coloring. The entire background for this card was created by stamping the large flower repeatedly and coloring in with Stampin’ Blends. A little time consuming but oh so fun! I like to color when I’m watching shows. How about you?

Making Christmas Bright - What Will You Stamp 198

Hi guys! It’s been over a month since I’ve stamped with the What Will You Stamp team. I miss this talented crew. Today we are sharing ideas using the Making Christmas Bright stamp set.

I’ve created a this card packaging box to share for this round. I love the look of a layered medallion ribbon so I tried to recreate that for the tag on this box.

Cards as gifts … I plan to package up a few cards and envelopes to tuck inside this box.

Beautiful Baubles - Global Design Project CASE Challenge - GDP168

It’s CASE week at the Global Design Project. We are CASEing this great card from Sarah Berry. I’m a huge fan of white space and her card sure gives me lots of room to play with white. I used the basic template from her card to create my 1st card. The second card used a similar template but uses the colors from Sarah’ card.

I decided to use the Beautiful Baubles Stamp set and dies. The large ornament from this set is a great image for coloring and I’ve colored it using Bermuda Bay and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.

Rooted in Nature - TGIF Challenges Technique - TGIFC189

Hello friends! How’s December treating you? Are you as busy as me? I’m sure packing it in. The busier I am, the busier I get. Weird.

Why not chuck another challenge into the mix? LOL. It’s Friday which means it’s time for a TGIF challenge. This week we have a really soothing color combo for you.

I pulled out a catalog favorite to create this card. You can use just about any stamp set in the right colors to create a winter / holiday card. The trees on this card are from the stamp set Rooted in Nature (stamped a gazillion times). The Deer is from the Detailed Deer thinlets and the verse is from xx set.

My favorite little detail on this card the Balmy Blue paper handmade scarf. I feel for the deer in our area. They must be freezing. I know they are used to the cold but if I were a deer I’d want a scarf.
