It’s CASE week at the Global Design Project. We are CASEing this great card from Sarah Berry. I’m a huge fan of white space and her card sure gives me lots of room to play with white. I used the basic template from her card to create my 1st card. The second card used a similar template but uses the colors from Sarah’ card.

I decided to use the Beautiful Baubles Stamp set and dies. The large ornament from this set is a great image for coloring and I’ve colored it using Bermuda Bay and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.

It’s THEME week at the Global Design Project. Tis the Season! What are you doing to prep for your holidays? Making cards?, Neighbor gifts? Gift tags? SHOW US!

My card today features the Beautiful Baubles Stamp set and dies. It’s a has a bit of a messy watercolor look which I like. This look is easy to achieve. Heat emboss the ornament image in white emboss powder on watercolor paper and then paint the color.. The embossed lines will help keep the color within each shape. It will bleed a little if super wet but that’s ok, that gives it the messy look.
