TGIF Challenges: TGIFC225 - ALL ON BLACK Challenge

ALL ON BLACK - what a fun challenge for this weeks TGIF Challenge. There are so many fantastic new Halloween products coming out on September 1 from Stampin’ Up! that I had to play with a few for this challenge. The stamp set is called The Raven. I added a bunch of sparkling black embossing powder to give the details on the black card stock a little punch.

I am a HUGE fan of Halloween and decorating for Halloween. This little 6x6 piece of decor will be a nice addition to my Halloween decorations.

Global Design Project - Sketch Challenge - GDP202 (Birch & Beautiful Friendship)

Time for Global Design Project. Our challenge this week is a sketch challenge. I really love his sketch and there are so many great way it could be interpreted. I love the little flag element and decided to make this bigger for my focal point. I decided to use the Birch Background stamp and the Beautiful Friendship stamp sets. I love these two set together, they really work! The flowers are stamped in Calypso Coral and Petal Pink my two go to favorite colors. The Birch has been stamped off in Gray Granite for a more subtle look.

TGIF Challenges: TGIFC223 - Color Challenge using Dino Days

We are on vacation this week but I did have time to sneak in a card for this week’s TGIF color challenge. FUN and bright colors call for a FUN and bright card. I decided to breaking out the new Dino Days stamp set to help me make this RAWRsome card. HAHA. It’s super fun but I will admit I had a hard time stamping these images. My ink pads are just too juicy. Crafter problems.

One cute detail on this card I wanted to point out … I used basic pinking shears to create a border to match the spike in the purple dino. Fun, fun! :)
