Fancy Friday Blog Hop - Blue Christmas

Blue Christmas! That is our Fancy Friday theme this month. What a great theme, don’t you think? Shades of blues are a great choice for holiday cardmaking. I find they can be awesome for Christmas, Hanukkah, and winter in general. I opted to create a card for the season celebrating a snowy winter using Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. I love how these two teal blues play off of each other.

The snowflake images are from the Christmas Layers dies. I die cut multiples of these (3). I am a big fan and love how these Coastal Cabana snowflakes look tiled across this Bermuda Bay card base. These snowflakes have been tacked down using the Fine-Tip glue pen.

Fancy Friday Blog Hop - Flowers (Beautiful Friendship)

Do you like floral stamps as much as I do? I think I use florals more than most stamps. The Stampin’ Up! catalog is full of beautiful floral stamps: Magnolia Lane, Daisy Lane, Floral Essence, Bloom and Grow, Beautiful Friendship are just a few! One of my favorites is Beautiful Friendship. I like the watercolor look of the roses and the fonts in this set are fantastic.

I created a birthday card with a big bouquet of roses. I used shades of pinks and corals. Bermuda Bay makes a great green and really compliments the pink flowers. A full list of supplies can be found below.

Monday Montage 146 - Beautiful Friendship

The Montage Montage crew is back today to share what we are working on.

This week I was playing around with the Beautiful Friendship stamp set … just for fun. No reason other than to craft. I did need to create a wedding card but ended up with a birthday card. Lol. Here is the card I came up with. It’s sweet and simple with a few nice layers all clustered in the center of the card.

I’m digging these colors together: Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Sahara Sand Bermuda Bay & Basic Black. The black really makes everything POP.

Birch - Stamp Review Crew

Welcome to the Birch Edition of Stamp Review Crew. I love background stamps. What could be better than a really large stamp? When I say I love them, I really do. I have a collection. I never get rid of them. I’ve posted a few pictures of my collection at the end of this post.

This background stamp is the pattern of a Birch tree. I’ve used it on my card inside the stitched window. I’ve also created a couple of napkin rings. The Birch looks so real. Just like it was shed from a tree. Both projects also use the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.
