Seasonally Scattered THANKS Card. Stampin' Up!

Seasonally Scattered THANKS Card. Stampin' Up!

Seasonally Scattered - Thanks Card

September 18, 2014

Here is the THANKS card we created at card club this month.  I used a similar technique on one of the cards I made for the convention display boards. If you missed it you can see those cards using the Seasonally Scattered stamp set here.

Some tips and tricks: I used Stampin' Write markers to color the image and then turned it into a tag using the scallop tag topper punch and the PL corner round punch. The hardwood background was stamped on the left 2/3 of the card and then I used the delicate designs scallop lace to emboss the right edge of the card.  The pearls have been colored with a pumpkin pie blendability marker.

This Fall themed card also features 3 of the new in-colors.

Blending Brush fail … but I made this card work in the end. The paper on the Specialty Embossed Cards has a little tooth and I could not get a smooth blend. Enter operation cover it all up. Haha.
