Hello and welcome to another Stamp Review blog hop. This edition of the SRC hop is focused on the COOL TREATS stamp set. This is a darling set with coordinating framelits. I LOVE all of the imagery in this set. I figure this hop will be full of popsicles and ice cream so I opted to showcase the sweet little strawberry images in the set.
My card is a quite simple in design and layout, sweet and simple! To make this card I stamped and stamped a bushel of berries in shades of Watermelon Wonder. You may notice that I have two sizes of berries but the set only has one size of berry?! The coordinating strawberry framelit cuts slightly smaller than the stamped imaged. Being slightly smaller, the die cuts off a little ink and allows the image to go directly to the edge, no white space. Kind of neat if you ask me. The bowl image comes from the framelits and was cut in Pool Party card stock, embossed, and then dressed up with a little ribbon.
I'm always looking for a fun and easy neighbor gift. I think this card will look great paired with small basket full of strawberries. Yum, Yum!
