TGIF Challenges: TGIFC239 - Dry Embossed Vellum

Sometimes you feel like making a frilly, pretty, pink card. This is that card for me today. I find the hint of vellum adds that extra oomph and detail that really pushes this card to the next level. The vellum on this card has been dry embossed using the Scripty 3D embossing folder.

Springtime Impressions - Create Simple Plant markers

I love to personalize gifts, even something as simple as a little potted plant.  I added a butterfly plant marker to these succulents using the Butterfly die from the Springtime Impressions thinlet dies. This is a simple way to dress up a plant and say THANK YOU! Use up those supplies and share. These plants were appreciation gifts for our outgoing elementary school PTF members.

I told you this butterfly die from the Springtime Impressions Thinlets is getting a workout in my crafting! I choose to use it again for this week's CASE the designer challenge over at the Global Design Project. ICYMI the designer we are casing is ME. How exciting. Springtime Impressions - Global Design Project Sketch Challenge

Hello friends! Hope you had a lovely weekend. I've been busy with family, end of year stuff, and preparing for a vacation. It's been hard to fit my regular crafting in so I was happy to have a sketch to follow for this card.

Yep, you heard me. This week we have a fabulous sketch challenge for you to play along with over on the Global Design Project. Sketch challenges are the best and take all the hard work of coming up with a layout out of the picture.  

There are so many new catalog products it's hard to choose what to play with first. I'm still waiting on a big catalog order but I still have a few fun new goodies to try out. I opted to use the butterfly from the Springtime Impressions Thinlets and the fun backgrounds from the new Gallery Grunge stamp set. This card also features Soft Sea Foam, a new favorite Stampin' Up! color. Full supplies can be found below.
