TGIF Challenges: TGIFC261 - Product Inspiration Challenge Die Cut words

TGIF Challenge has a great product showcase challenge this week … die cut words.

I love word and letter die cuts. They are such a great way to add a large and unique sentiment to a card. The Welcome Baby sentiment on this card comes from the Well Written dies. The flowers are stamped from the Ornate Style stamp set. I’ve chopped up the larger flower image to create this smaller version. The flowers have been heat embossing using gold emboss powder and colored using Stampin’ Blends.

Coranatimes … It’s a tough time to have a baby. We have many friends and family who are expecting right now. I can only imagine the added stress of delivering in this environment. The joy of new life is so wonderful and full of such promise. Hopefully this card brings a little bright spot to the parents as well.

  1. Play along with us! So easy to participate. Check out the TGIFChallenges blog for more details and inspiration. Tag your projects #tgifc261 so the TGIF Challenges design team are sure to see them.

Global Design Project - GDP236 - Case Challenge - Sorry for Everything & Ornate Style

April 13, 2020

Hello friends. We’ve got a wonderful CASE the designer challenge this week. I created is card based Janneke’s card. I love how the sponging make the label shape pop off the card. I had to incorporate that element into my layout. I used the label to frame the ‘Sorry’ greeting from the Sorry for Everything Stamp set. (which has been gold embossed). I also cut apart the large floral image from the Ornate Style stamp set to flank the frame a little. The flowers have been colored using Stampin’ Blends. This turned into a really pretty card, I am a fan.

Ready for more inspiration and want to play along? Check out the Global Design Project blog for more projects and details on how to play along with us. If you make a project be sure to tag your project #gdp236 so we can see your work!

Today I’m using products from my stash and went with a simple 3 color monochromic color card. I’ve cased the designer card at @global_design_project #gdp532 and used layers of flat and embossed paper for a little extra touch. ❤️ Check out what my creative friends made this week. Stitching on a card … I ❤️ tiny details. The pierced holes on this die cut heart created the perfect template for sewing a simple stitch around the perimeter with white bakers twine. I created a heart pennant banner using smaller die cuts and the same twine. I love tiny details. #stampinup #endlesslove #valentinecard #cardmaker #cardmakingreels
