Birthday Wit & Party Pandas for Global Design Project Color Challenge

How about a little Birthday Wit & Party Pandas for this weeks Global Design Project Color Challenge (GDP125)? I think both of these stamp sets look great with strong colors! The colors we are using for this challenge are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Dapper Denim. All favorites of mine.

I tried to create a little firework background for this card. Not sure how well the blue Brusho reads as fireworks ... what do you think? Does it look like a celebration or a big blue mistake? Ha! One color wonder - I stamped the little birdie image on coldpress watercolor paper in Golden Glow ink and then pulled that color through the images with a water brush. I love easy technique to quickly add color. Bird image & sentiment are from the Cutest Crew stamp set. #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking #cardmakingreels #cutestcrew

Golden Glow. I'm going to try to create a series of one color cards using the new Stampin' Up! InColors. Today I'm showcasing Golden Glow. This new color is a soft warm light gold. It is a calming color and I think it is very a nice addition to the yellows. Those cute bird images are from the 'Cutest Crew' stamp set. Need a reason to make? Punches for the win. I needed a graduation card so I used two punches from Stampin’ Up! To create the graduation cap. The cap tassle is created using baker’s twine. Modern Oval & Tailored Tag punch. #useyourstash #graduationcard #cardmakingreels

It's been weeks since I created a card and it felt good to sit down and make something. It's graduation season and cards are needed! I pulled together a few punches and the Bordered in Beauty bundle to create. This card works for two challenges this week. I'm playing along with @tgifchallenges color challenge using Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Smopky Slate.
