TGIF Challenges 299 - Birch Wood and Sweet Strawberry

Hello friends! This week the TGIF challenges team is playing around with Background stamps. Do you have a favorite? I LOVE background stamps and have so many. I collect them. Lol. My project today features the Birch Wood background stamp.

I’ve stamped the Birch wood in a white ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. The strawberry images are from the Sweet Strawberry stamp and punch bundle.

Tip: See the little flower centers? These were created by 1. coloring each flower center with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. 2. Adding a small dab of fine tip glue adhesive to the flower center. The glue dries hard, clear and raised creating a super fun embellishment.

I'm loving the texture of this metallic gold finish in the Timeless Metallic papers. It looks like brushed metal and it looks fab cut out as the foliage for these pumpkins. Stamping a scene … I always marvel at how quickly a project can come together when stamping. Sometimes I like to stamp on wet paper as it can make the ink bleed and blur. For this card I built a collage scene with a bunch of stamps and layered with die cut shapes from the Queen Bee bundle. 🐝 #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking #cardmakingreels #gdp564
