TGIF Challenges 299 - Birch Wood and Sweet Strawberry

Hello friends! This week the TGIF challenges team is playing around with Background stamps. Do you have a favorite? I LOVE background stamps and have so many. I collect them. Lol. My project today features the Birch Wood background stamp.

I’ve stamped the Birch wood in a white ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. The strawberry images are from the Sweet Strawberry stamp and punch bundle.

Tip: See the little flower centers? These were created by 1. coloring each flower center with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. 2. Adding a small dab of fine tip glue adhesive to the flower center. The glue dries hard, clear and raised creating a super fun embellishment.

Hello Gourd-geous, and happy September! The first day of fall is still a few weeks away, but it sure does feel like fall here in Maine. The mornings are chilly and crisp, and you can just smell fall in the air. The Global Design Project has a “Harvest” theme challenge this week. #GDP563 The deer have been eating their way through my garden harvest, but I did manage to get a couple of zucchini last week. Bread will be baked. Since my garden is a bust, I guess I’ll have to garden by card! Stamp set is called Painted Pumpkins.
