This time of year the THEME bloom and grow brings up images of fall harvests, pumpkins and picking apples. My card for the Global Design Project challenge uses the pumpkin image from Harvest Hellos.
I wanted to have pumpkins on my card of varying sizes so I trimmed off the edges of one pumpkin to make it smaller. The pumpkin image has been stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink and then colored using Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I like how the stamped orange lines blend with the marker colors. It’s a softer look than the black outline.
Like that black THANKS sentiment? Just like the smaller pumpkin it also had a little crafting surgery. I trimmed the ‘giving’ away from the ‘Thanksgiving’ die from the Well Written dies using scissors
Its a little hard to see in this photos but the buffalo check background is embossed using clear emboss powder and creates a nice subtle check for the background. .
