Merry Christmas to All - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

November 15, 2018
Artisan Logo.jpg

Hello crafty friends! Welcome to November’s Stampin' Up! Artisan blog hop. This month we are featuring the Merry Christmas to all Bundle, the Making Christmas Bright Bundle, All is Bright Designer Series papers, and other coordinating products. These items are ideal for the holiday season and we hope this hop inspires your holiday crafting! You’ll see these products can be used in a variety of ways and the Artisan design team has a boatload of ideas to share with you. My creations for this round are a Christmas card and a Christmas tree ornament/gift tag.

Highlights from the Merry & Bright Card:

I think my favorite sheet of paper from the All is Bright Designer Series papers is this Crumb Cake colored bokeh sheet. I know it may look plain to some but it looks so good when you stamp on it. I stamped the word ‘bright’ over and over in Crumb Cake to created a similar bokeh look for the background.

The ‘Merry’ word is cut from Gold Glimmer paper and the rest of the card is built from there.

The lightbulb images from the Making Season Bright stamp set coordinate with all of these products as well, bringing in a graphic and bold look. I’ve stamped the bulb with the STAR image in Cherry Cobbler. I added a few more small stamped stars to the background paper as well at star clips from the All is Bright paper clips assortment.

Wreath Ornament tag highlights:

This wreath ornament will also function as a gift tag. I’ll use it to dress up a gift and then, after gifted, the recipient can use it to place on their tree. I’ve adorned the wreath using a variety of products mentioned above. A full product list can be found at the end of this post. The wreath was purchased at the local hobby store.

One highlight I’d like to point out on this ornament is the red berry pearls. These white pearls were colored using Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends. The little holly leaves were stamped in Call Me Clover and hand cut. The tree is a paper clip from the All is Bright clips. The clip has been inserted into the tag.

Both products are a screaming deal at 5$ each with qualifying purchase. Get in my cart! Ha. I'm a sucker for a good deal, who isn't? I created this card using the challenge colors from @global.design.project #gdp545 Colors are Bubble Bath, Strawberry Slush and Granny Apply Green. Play along with us this week! Looking for more inspiration on this Monday? My Monday Montage friends are sharing fun new ideas. Check them out below. A sweet card for a sweet friend! We are CASING the amazing @tinkermom85 this week @global_design_project - I love how Wendy stamped on patterned paper to add a quick pop of color. I took a similar approach and stamped the berries from the 'Filled with Sweetness' stamp set onto red patterned paper. The green stems were stamped directly onto Garden Green cardstock and then cut out and layered onto the red berries. Play along and tag your project #gdp544 The acronym CASE typically stands for Copy And Share Everything (or sometimes Copy And Selectively Edit). It refers to finding inspiration in another person's card design-such as layout, colors, or techniques, and recreating it, either exactly or with minor changes. #stampinup #filledwithsweetness #cardmaker #cardmakingideas
Water & ink. I used water and classic ink to create this soft pastel card. Paper: watercolor paper. I used a variety of flower punches from my collection to create the multi-layered flowers. This card has so much dimension and is meant for hand delivery! 🤣 Use your stash! #stampinup #useyourstash #cardmaker #cardmakingreel
