Blossoms in Bloom - Lovely You - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Hello friends! Welcome to another Global Design Project challenge. This week we are playing color. Check out these three bright and summery colors together. They look fab!

I created my card pairing Bumble Bee and Calypso Coral together in a watercolor wash background. The Granny Apple Green really pops that sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set on the center.

The die cut Blossoms in Bloom flower in the background doesn’t normally fit on a full card front. I snipped it in half and then layered the sentiment over the top to gain that extra space needed.

Want to play along with us? Check out the Global Design Project blog for more projects and details on how to play along. If you make a project be sure to tag your project #gdp253 so we can see your work.

Beautiful World - Stamp Review Crew

August 2, 2020
Stamp Review Crew blog banner(2).png

Hello and welcome to the Beautiful World Edition of SRC. Do you ever bite off more than you can chew? I did this week. We moved to a new home over the weekend in a new state and I thought I would be able to make a card before we left. HAHA. I am hilarious. No luck on making that card. In fact, even forgot to post in time. Lol.

I have used the Beautiful World stamp set a fair amount already. This is a great set and bundle of products. Here are a couple projects I have created using this set. Enjoy!

What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month. All of our previous stamp set reviews are archived. Click here to see all of the hops!

Ready for more inspiration using this stamp set? Next up is Mary. Be sure to go through the hop to see what ALL my talented friends have created using this set. Thanks in advance for taking the time to comment. I love to hear from you.

I adore cards with a floating backgrounds. They are so pretty! Here is a peek at how I created. First, I cut, colored, and assembled bunch of daffodil flowers. I popped up the flowers using dimensionals and arranged them around the greeting, trimming any excess off from around the edges. #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking cardmakingreels

What's old is new again... I'm so excited for the return of the color Crisp Canteloupe. It's a "new" InColor for 2026-28. Woohoo! I love this color and paired it with Lemon Lolly & Lemon Lime Twist for a fun, fresh look. Card created for the @stampinfancyfriday color challenge. The stamp set is called 'Sending Salutations'. The darling little daffodil die is from the 'Easter Basket' dies (now retired). This card design was inspired by @martinmayhem - I love how he takes an element and creates an entire floating backgorund. #stampinup #sendingsalutations #crispcanteloupe #cardmaker #cardmaking
I’m crushing over this Eyelet Blooms Die. What a beautiful pattern! I used a die brush to remove all the little negative cut pieces. So satisfying! Colors: Bubble Bath, Strawberry Slush & Granny Apple Green. #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmakersofinstagram #cardmakingreels #gdp545
