Hello friends. We’ve got a simple sketch for you to work off of this week. I created is card based from a sweet Birthday card that Emma Goddard sent me back in January. I love how the vellum creates the tag on this card but it’s so subtle you hardly notice it.

Ready for more inspiration and want to play along? Check out the Global Design Project blog for more projects and details on how to play along with us. If you make a project be sure to tag your project #gdp234 so we can see your work!

Like this card? Want to make it?
I would LOVE to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. If you live in the United States you can order your paper crafting supplies from my online store. So easy. THANK YOU!

Timeless Tulips - Stamp Review Crew & Monday Montage

Hi Friends. Welcome, welcome. TWO HOPS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! Kind of like a choose your own blog adventure … The Stamp Review Crew are showcasing the Timeless Tulips stamp this week and the Monday Montage team are showcasing current Stampin’ Up! projects.

A little about my project: I decided to create an Easter card for my Grandmother. She loves the color purple and would regularly attend the Tulip Festival in Skagit, Washington (The Skagit Tulip Festival is regularly held April 1-30 however due to our current circumstances it will not be open to the public). Attending a tulip festival is on my bucket list. One day … I think this card will bring a bit of brightness to her day.

I decided to soften the look of the Tulips by stamping them on watercolor paper and blending the ink with an Aqua Painter to make the tulip images feel a little more painterly. I like the effect.

The Stamp Review Crew an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month. You can hop along with us at the end of this post or skip along to Nikki.

I adore cards with a floating backgrounds. They are so pretty! Here is a peek at how I created. First, I cut, colored, and assembled bunch of daffodil flowers. I popped up the flowers using dimensionals and arranged them around the greeting, trimming any excess off from around the edges. #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking cardmakingreels

I love this color and paired it with Lemon Lolly & Lemon Lime Twist for a fun, fresh look. Card created for the @stampinfancyfriday color challenge. The stamp set is called 'Sending Salutations'. The darling little daffodil die is from the 'Easter Basket' dies (now retired). This card design was inspired by @martinmayhem - I love how he takes an element and creates an entire floating backgorund. #stampinup #sendingsalutations #crispcanteloupe #cardmaker #cardmaking
I’m crushing over this Eyelet Blooms Die. What a beautiful pattern! I used a die brush to remove all the little negative cut pieces. So satisfying! Colors: Bubble Bath, Strawberry Slush & Granny Apple Green. #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmakersofinstagram #cardmakingreels #gdp545
We have a new baby in the neighborhood and so I crafted this sweet welcome card using the 'Notes of Spring' stamp set and 'Eyelets Blooms' die. Both products are a screaming deal at 5$ each with qualifying purchase. Get in my cart! Ha. I'm a sucker
