Hi Friends. Welcome, welcome. TWO HOPS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! Kind of like a choose your own blog adventure … The Stamp Review Crew are showcasing the Timeless Tulips stamp this week and the Monday Montage team are showcasing current Stampin’ Up! projects.

A little about my project: I decided to create an Easter card for my Grandmother. She loves the color purple and would regularly attend the Tulip Festival in Skagit, Washington (The Skagit Tulip Festival is regularly held April 1-30 however due to our current circumstances it will not be open to the public). Attending a tulip festival is on my bucket list. One day … I think this card will bring a bit of brightness to her day.

I decided to soften the look of the Tulips by stamping them on watercolor paper and blending the ink with an Aqua Painter to make the tulip images feel a little more painterly. I like the effect.

The Stamp Review Crew an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month. You can hop along with us at the end of this post or skip along to Nikki.

This blue and purple winter card uses tidbits from the Calm & Bright kit. I used the negative shape from the fir die cut to create a stencil and layered from there. Blend, stencil, stamp. Colors are Highlander Heather, Cloud Cover, & Lost Lagoon. @global_design_project #gdp525 #stampinup #calmandbright
Masking and stamping! On this card I mask with tape, blend ink, then stamp, then stencil, and stamp again to create a layered scene. It’s so satisfying to remove the masking tape… always a fun reveal. Sending Joy! I created this wintry scene using the Calm and Bright card kit. I love the look of white on white. I pulled in some gold embossing and Crumb Cake to balance out all that white. This CAS kit has tons of cute and tiny elements (yippee for tiny stamps) that are perfect for creating an adorable little holiday scene. 166461 Card created for @global_design_project BRRR theme. #gdp523 #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking #cardmakersofinstagram #cardmakingreels #madewithmine
