March 26, 2020
IMG_0883.jpg

TGIF Challenge has a great technique challenge this week … gold dipped.

I pulled out the versamark and gold embossing powder to create the solid golden bottom on the Terracotta Tile colored frame. Simply press your paper into versamark and then heat set with gold embossing powder.

Play along with us! So easy to participate. Check out the TGIFChallenges blog for more details and inspiration. Tag your projects #tgifc257 so the TGIF Challenges design team are sure to see them.

Hello friends. We are casing this fantastic card from Connie Collins. I absolutely love Connie’s style. Every project she creates is so rich with layers and texture. She is a pro!

I played a little off her layout and totally off the colors of this card. I’m loving the end product. This card features sneak products : Ornate Garden. Available April 1.

Ready for more inspiration? AND, need a bit of a distraction while you are self isolating? Check out the Global Design Project blog for more projects and details on how to play along with us. If you make a project be sure to tag your project #gdp232 so we can see your work!

Spent a little time in the craft room today to make a card for the Dressed to Impress Stamp Review Crew blog hop.

What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month. All of our previous stamp set reviews are archived. Click here to see all of the hops!

Ready for more inspiration using this stamp set? Next up is Jay. Be sure to go through the hop to see what ALL my talented friends have created using this set. Thanks in advance for taking the time to comment. I love to hear from you.

More pumpkins! Playing with these stencil decorative masks is kind of addicting. I used a blending brush, Cajun Craze & Golden Glow inks to color the pumpkins. Stamp set is called Painted Pumpkins. My account is basically the pumpkin card making account now. 🎃 🤣 #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmaking #cardmakersofinstagram #paintedpumpkins

Card assembly! Pulling bits together for #gdp569 color challenge. I could NOT decide on a greeting and finally landed with ‘Celebrate’ because it is long and one word. Not sure if it’s the best greeting with pumpkins? BTW Golden Glow is the perfect pumpkin color! Pretty Peacock Cajun Craze Golden Glow #stampinup #cardmaker #cardmakersofinstagram #cardmakingreels

Celebrate! Fall is my favorite time of year, and the colors in Maine right now are fire. Swipe to see a photo of this tree I quickly snapped from the side of the road. I had to pull over because it honestly didn’t look real. So vibrant, and no filter! The leaves look like Cajun Craze and Golden Glow came to life. Those two colors, along with Pretty Peacock, are the palette for this week’s @global_design_project color challenge. I used those two colors to create the pumpkins on this card. Card base is Pretty Peacock. Play along with us and tag your project #gdp569. #stampinup #cardmaker #paintedpumpkins #colorchallenge
