I will never reject the universe sending some awesome my way. We all need it! I used the Genuine Gems & Pop of Petals stamp sets to create this card for TGIFC237 Sketch challenge. All images have been colored using Stampin’ Blends.

Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Fancy Folds - Meant to Be

HELLO friends! Welcome to the Creating Kindness Around the World Hop. CREATING KINDNESS: We are a group of paper crafters from around the world who have come together to inspire you to create kindness through cardmaking and paper.

Meant to Be Heart Pop Up card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Our theme this month is Fancy Folds. I think any paper with a fold is pretty fancy because it instantly becomes a card. Ha! However for this hop I decided to add a little folded flair on the inside of my card. I’ve always loved pop-up books and interactive cards so I tried to incorporate a little 3D action to the card interior.

This little love note measures 4.25 x 5.5 when open and 4.25 x 2.75 when closed. This card features the Meant to Be bundle (stamp and dies). I used one of the larger heart dies from this bundle to create the pop up heart. I did this by only die cutting the middle section of the die so that both sides of the heart remain attached to the paper. Hard to explain in text. I so enjoy being a part of the Global Design Project design team, it’s awesome to have a new reason to stamp every week.

For my card I pulled out the Rustic Retreat stamp set to create a winter birthday card. The cabin is colored using Stampin’ Blends. I’m also participating in the 30 Day color challenge again and this is my project for Day 4. Trying to color something every day.

Monday Montage 151 - Merry Christmoose

The Montage Montage crew is back today to share what we are working on.

So … what I am up to? I’m still preparing swaps for OnStage as well as trying to prototype out ideas for my Christmas card. I’m not even close to having a Christmas card idea. I usually try to have some sort of handmade element on my Holiday card. This week I am stamping with Christmas sets to get he creative juices flowing.

Merry Christmoose Card- Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

This card has a few fun elements. I love the hanging jingle bells. Not very practical for mailing but a fun element for a card that might be hand delivered. I also like how Very Vanilla and Whisper White are working together. I don’t usually put these two basics together but like how they are working together here. The ornate frame dies are a must have. Digging how the small one frames Mr. Moose.
