TGIF Challenges: TGIFC225 - ALL ON BLACK Challenge

August 15, 2019

ALL ON BLACK - what a fun challenge for this weeks TGIF Challenge. There are so many fantastic new Halloween products coming out on September 1 from Stampin’ Up! that I had to play with a few for this challenge. The stamp set is called The Raven. I added a bunch of sparkling black embossing powder to give the details on the black card stock a little punch.

I am a HUGE fan of Halloween and decorating for Halloween. This little 6x6 piece of decor will be a nice addition to my Halloween decorations.

Play along with us! Check out the TGIFChallenges Blog for more details. Tag your projects #tgifc225 so we are sure to see them.

Global Design Project - Sketch Challenge - GDP202 (Birch & Beautiful Friendship)

August 12, 2019

Time for Global Design Project. Our challenge this week is a sketch challenge. I really love his sketch and there are so many great way it could be interpreted. I love the little flag element and decided to make this bigger for my focal point. I decided to use the Birch Background stamp and the Beautiful Friendship stamp sets. I love these two set together, they really work! The flowers are stamped in Calypso Coral and Petal Pink my two go to favorite colors. The Birch has been stamped off in Gray Granite for a more subtle look.

Are you ready to play along? Give this theme a try. I can’t wait to see what you come up with for this Global Design Project Challenge. Be sure to take your project #gdp202 so we can see your creation.

Good Morning Magnolia watercolor card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Monday Montage 145 - Good Morning Magnolia

August 11, 2019

The Montage Montage crew is back today to share what we are working on.

Hello! ‘Tis the season for card club and stamp camps. Here is another card made for a recent card club. This is a fund card to create.

This card used the (very pretty) Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. The large flower is stamped on watercolor paper in Crushed Curry ink. I’ve watercolor this image in Crushed Curry and added a little Soft Seafoam color for the leaves. I love how different this image looks when watercolored.

The Monday Montage crew is a talented bunch. A quick refresher, the Montage gals host a blog hop every other Monday showing you fun and exciting Stampin’ Up! products. Ready for more Stampin’ Up! inspiration? Be sure to loop through the entire hop and see all of the amazing artwork created just to inspire! Next up is Cheryl. Thanks so much for visiting!

OOPSIE! Sometimes links break. If this happens you can link back up with up with each of us on our home pages listed out below. Thanks for visiting! Charlet
