Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Landscape theme

Hi friends! Welcome to another Creating Kindness Around the World blog Hop. CREATING KINDNESS: We are a group of paper crafters from around the world who have come together to inspire you to create kindness through cardmaking and paper.

Each month we create around a theme or idea and this months theme is to create a Landscape. I decided to create a nautical landscape using the two sail boats from the new Sail Away stamp set. I really like how the black embossed ink really pops on the watercolor wash. I am focused on creating graduation cards this month and this sentiment from the Sail Away stamp set fits a graduation card perfectly. Itty Bitty Birthdays- Global Design Theme CASE Challenge - GDP192

Hi friends! I’m super excited to share this week’s Global Design Project challenge. I am honored to have one of my cards as the inspiration for this challenge and I can’t wait to see what you make using this card as your inspiration.

I love the look of a flagged banner on a card. It makes for an easy focal point and I use it often. This was the jumping off point for my new project.

This new card features two great greetings stamp sets: Itty Bitty Greetings and Itty Bitty Birthdays. The ‘It’s Your Day’ sentiment has been stamped in Pretty Peacock, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green. I used the Stamparatus to help with the alignment. The ‘Happy Graduation’ sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.

It continues to be graduation season around here. Out local high school graduation is next week. I needed a card without many frills for a teen boy. I think this turned out perfect for the occasion. I’ve created these graduation caps before. Here is the info on how to make the graduation cap.

Use up those die cuts! - Monday Montage 140

The Montage Montage crew is back today to share what we are working on.

This week I am pulling together cards for an upcoming craft fair. I’ve got just under two weeks to get things in order. Make, make, make!

I have an assortment of die cuts sitting around on my desk so I threw a few together to create this card. This card is super simple and I have just realized has NO stamping. Oops. That’s not typical for me. I love stamping. Ah well. It is still cute. The die cuts look beautiful on top of a simple watercolor wash. This is a super simple card to make and comes together quickly. That fun embossed background pushes this simple card up a notch by adding some much needed texture. See a full list of supplies below.

Daisy Delight - Stamp Review Crew

Welcome to the Daisy Delight edition of Stamp Review Crew. I made a bit of a mistake. There are two DAISY stamp sets, Daisy Delight and Daisy Lane. I made projects for Daisy Lane. Oops. So above are a couple of cards I created previously with Daisy Delight. They are still pretty cute so I thought I’d share.

And below is the card I made with Daisy Lane. It’s bright and sunny. The colors used are Petal Pink, So Saffron and Calypso Coral.They sure make a pretty color combo. This card could easily be made from the images in the Daisy Delight set. There is a smaller two-step daisy image that could swap out for the flower image on this card.

Both of these Daisy stamp sets have coordinating daisy punches, a larger and smaller version. And, both of these sets will be available for another year in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! catalog.
