Hello everyone! Welcome back to another Stamp Review. The Stamp Review Crew is focusing on Christmas Quilt for this editions blog hop. I've been using Christmas Quilt a fair amount recently. I've been making cards as a gift for a friend who loves to quilt as well as a few other hops. See some of my previous cards using this set at the end of this post. Today I have two more to share and I love how they turned out, hope you do too.

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas! I love that Christmas song and the phrase used on this stamp greeting. This card uses vellum to back the quilt window. Light and airy! I used a star stitched felt embellishment and Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon to accent the window.

Peace Christmas Quilt - Charlet Mallett - Stampin' Up!

Peace Card: Look how nicely the square scallop shape layers with the quilted square outline. Perfect fit. I love to sew on cards but had no need for this card. Do you like the FAUX cross-stitch detail in white along the top and bottom of the designer series paper? Its a fun little stamp detail I didn't want you to miss.

Welcome to this weeks Global Design Project challenge, This week have a color challenge using Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist (a current favorite) and Crumb Cake. What a vibrant and fun color combo. My card today is bright and fruity! I used a new set from the upcoming Occasions catalog called Fruit Basket (available for purchase Jan 3). The pears in this stamp set are darling and have a coordinating punch. In fact the set includes a strawberry, pineapple and citrus wedge, all with coordinating punches. Christmas Quilt - What Will You Stamp

Hello and welcome to this weeks What Will You Stamp Challenge. We have been challenged to make projects using Christmas Quilt.

Now onto my card for this week ... I have a friend who is a stellar quilter. She is amazing and I thought she would appreciate handmade cards created from this set. I sure hope she likes them. I'll be sure share a few more later this month. This card is full of layers, paper scraps and a really fun colors. I love this color combo. Fresh and soft, these colors can be used for Christmas or for any occasion.

Fun tips: look how well the quilt die cut layers onto the scallop square die cut! Meant to be. Also, did you notice I used the negative pieces of the quilt die cut to create my background image? More fun stuff. And, the little stitch stamp makes it appear as if I have hand stitched the white paper banner onto the card. I didn't want you to miss these little details.

A sweet card for a sweet friend! We are CASING the amazing @tinkermom85 this week @global_design_project - I love how Wendy stamped on patterned paper to add a quick pop of color. I took a similar approach and stamped the berries from the 'Filled with Sweetness' stamp set onto red patterned paper. The green stems were stamped directly onto Garden Green cardstock and then cut out and layered onto the red berries. Water & ink. I used water and classic ink to create this soft pastel card. Paper: watercolor paper. I used a variety of flower punches from my collection to create the multi-layered flowers. When I think of pastel I think watercolor. For this month our 'Use Your Stash' theme is PRETTY PASTEL. I pulled out the 'Good Greetings' stamp set and heat set the large greeting with white emboss powder. This greeting is so pretty. Then, I water painted a peachy color over the top for a soft & airy look. For the flowers I painted a few pink and peach multi-color washes and then punch out using various flower punches. The flower centers are irridescent rhinestones. Stampin' Up! products you can still purchase: Basic White cardstock, Fluid 100 watercolor Ink colors: Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Cloud Cover I can't wait to see what my friends pulled out from their stashes for this challenge. Cute little chicks lined up in a row … I was eyeballing it to try my hand at stamp alignment with this new Stampin’ Positioner tool. My free form is not perfect, but it doesn’t matter in the end when you mount your card crooked. 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥 🤣 Stamp set is called Easter Basket and it’s on the last chance list.
