Christmas Quilt Square Sketch Challenge - TGIFC137

It's Friday baby! Time for another TGIF Challenge. This week we have a square sketch for you to follow. You hip to be square? Sorry for the cheese ... I couldn't help myself with the song tie in. :/

My card uses product from the Christmas Quilt bundle. I finally got a chance to pull out these products and play a bit with them before the Holiday season is over. The stamp set and coordinating framelits are adorable. Speaking of adorable, I adore this stitched Garden Green felt tree. I decided to use it as my primary focal point. The look of Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green together feels so fresh, fun and a little different for Christmas.

Petal Palette - Case the Designer - Global Design Project

Are you ready for a CASE the DESIGNER Challenge? #GDP116 Jenneke has used a classic layout that is perfect for CASEing. I adore the color combination she used and decided these two elements would be the starting point for my card.

I am itching to use new Occasions catalog products. It's hard to wait. Coming in January is this new adorable new bird and blooms stamp set called Petal Palette. It's pretty, feminine and painterly. I love it and I am certain is will be a popular set.

The bird and bloom images have been colored with Stampin' Blends. The scallop lace border used on my card comes from the coordinating thinlets that can be purchased in the Petal Palette bundle. And you might be able to glimpse a little Wink of Stella painted onto the leaves. Love that extra little detail.

Christmas Sweater - What Will You Stamp

Are YOU ready for an UGLY sweater on a cute card? Ok, I'll admit ... the sweaters are pretty cute too. This weeks What Will You Stamp challenge stamp set is Christmas Sweater. This set is all sorts of adorable and includes 6 fun seasonal sweater images perfect for coloring. I used Stampin' Blends to color the sweaters ... and the wrong black ink (Basic Black Archival). Doh. Too late to fix and so I tried to make it work. See how some of those black inked areas start to bleed? I'm calling those areas diliberate shadows. HA! Let my mistake be a friendly remember to use Memento ink as your black ink when coloring with alcohol based markers.

Wood Words - Stamp Review Crew

Hello everyone! Welcome to another edition of the Stamp Review Crew blog hop. It's been a long two weeks since we last hopped. A little background in case you are new to this hop: The Stamp Review Crew is a group of International Stampin' Up! demonstrators who want to show you how much you can do with ONE stamp set. Fun idea, eh? Each edition of the Crew will showcase a new featured stamp set. Each stop along the hop will show you a different idea, or ideas using that set! The stamp set we are featuring today is Wood Words. This is one of my favorite sets from the annual Stampin' Up! catalog.

Tis' the season for gift giving and handmade gifts. My project today is a little 3x3 love note gift pack. Cute and compact. The gift pack includes four 3x3 cards and handmade envelopes all packaged in a cute paper crate. The 3D crate box is created from a die that comes from the coorindinating thinlets. I cut the crate from the Wood Textures Designer Series papers and embellished with a few other products.

The four cards all color coordinate and include little silver bits of bling and ribbon. All supplies are listed out for you below.
