Spooky Cat set sampler - What Will You Stamp

Sometimes you come across a stamp set and a line of products that inspired you to create and create. The Spooky Cat stamp set did that for me this week. It also happens to be the What Will You Stamp challenge set for this week.

I planned to create one card for the WWYS challenge and I started with just a card and then kept going and going. Holy moly, I've got a few samples to share. All supplies for these projects are listed below and many are a part of the Spooky Night Suite.

Did any of you get a chance to craft yesterday on World Card Making Day? I snuck in a quick minute to make a card and participate in this weeks Global Design Project. The theme is GRATEFUL. #gdp107

White pumpkins are magical. I don't know what it is about white pumpkins but I love them! They are like a pumpkin unicorn. This card uses the negative space from the large line pumpkin (Patterned Pumpkin dies) to make the white pumpkin. Additional supplies listed out below.

Grateful! I am grateful for a wonderful and supportive card making community. My card last week was selected as a GDP winner for the sketch challenge. Thanks for the opportunity to play along each week. Yippee!

World Card Making Day Blog Hop 2017

Hello friends! You are in for a real treat. Join me in hopping along with loads of talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the globe as we share our handmade cards in honor of World Card Making Day! I am so excited and am ready to be filled with fabulous card making inspiration.

This card making hop was wide open. No theme, color combo or stamp set were specified. The basic idea was to make a card and share it. I decided to use the Smitten Mittens stamp set for my cards today. It's such a darling set and can be used for so much more than winter themed cards. This stamp set has been sitting lonely on my craft table just waiting to be opened up and used.

The white stitched heart die cut comes from the Stocking framelits. The little Flirty Flamingo hearts inside of the the stitched heart come from the little mitten. I stamped the mitten image and punched out the heart area using a circle punch.

Paper crafting and stamping is such a passion, I seriously love this craft and sharing ideas. It's perfect to have a full DAY to honor this hobby. Thanks for stopping by!

It seems every day the World honors something or someone. Pizza day, donut day, coffee day, dog day ... you get the drill. Today is World Teachers Day. Yeah Teachers!!! It's an important sentiment that I am happy to honor. I come from a family of educators including ALL of my sister-in-laws (3). Maybe I choose the wrong profession?! LOL.

Anyway, here is a card I made for Nic's new 2nd grade teacher. She is awesome! This card pulls images from quite a few stamp sets and punches to help convey the message. Supplies listed below. Happy Stamping!

A sweet card for a sweet friend! We are CASING the amazing @tinkermom85 this week @global_design_project - I love how Wendy stamped on patterned paper to add a quick pop of color. I took a similar approach and stamped the berries from the 'Filled with Sweetness' stamp set onto red patterned paper. The green stems were stamped directly onto Garden Green cardstock and then cut out and layered onto the red berries. Water & ink. I used water and classic ink to create this soft pastel card. Paper: watercolor paper. I used a variety of flower punches from my collection to create the multi-layered flowers. When I think of pastel I think watercolor. For this month our 'Use Your Stash' theme is PRETTY PASTEL. I pulled out the 'Good Greetings' stamp set and heat set the large greeting with white emboss powder. This greeting is so pretty. Then, I water painted a peachy color over the top for a soft & airy look. For the flowers I painted a few pink and peach multi-color washes and then punch out using various flower punches. The flower centers are irridescent rhinestones. Stampin' Up! products you can still purchase: Basic White cardstock, Fluid 100 watercolor Ink colors: Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Cloud Cover I can't wait to see what my friends pulled out from their stashes for this challenge. Cute little chicks lined up in a row … I was eyeballing it to try my hand at stamp alignment with this new Stampin’ Positioner tool.
