They sparkle and dangle and are all sorts of cute! The chandeliers images from the Season to Sparkle stamp set and the dies sure make a great image to play off of.

My first card uses the chandelier cut out from the die and pairs it with a few of the Halloween images in the stamp set. Creepy hanging spiders make this card! Second card is for the lovers ... It uses the chandelier stamp image.  Gold embossing, pearls and dangling hearts give this card a more feminine feel. Two totally different looks from one great set.

Check out more inspiration using this set on the What Will You Stamp blog.

Beautiful You - Stamp Review Crew

October 1, 2017
Stamp Review Crew blog banner(2).png

Beautiful You is the stamp set we are featuring for this edition of the Stamp Review Crew.  When I created these cards I was also creating my September Paper Pumpkin projects and it looks like a little overlap happened. Ha! I did intend to have fall themed cards and it worked out perfectly. Both cards use the same colors: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry/So Saffron, Early Espresso and Old Olive.

I can't wait to see how the Stamp Review Crew used this stamp set. Next up in this hop is Nikki Spencer. Happy hopping and happy October!

A little background in case you are new to this hop: The Stamp Review Crew is a group of International Stampin' Up! demonstrators who want to show you how much you can do with ONE stamp set. Each edition of the Crew will showcase a new featured stamp set. Each stop along the hop will show you a different idea, or ideas using that set!

A sweet card for a sweet friend! We are CASING the amazing @tinkermom85 this week @global_design_project - I love how Wendy stamped on patterned paper to add a quick pop of color. I took a similar approach and stamped the berries from the 'Filled with Sweetness' stamp set onto red patterned paper. The green stems were stamped directly onto Garden Green cardstock and then cut out and layered onto the red berries. Play along and tag your project #gdp544 The acronym CASE typically stands for Copy And Share Everything (or sometimes Copy And Selectively Edit). It refers to finding inspiration in another person's card design-such as layout, colors, or techniques, and recreating it, either exactly or with minor changes. #stampinup #filledwithsweetness #cardmaker #cardmakingideas
Water & ink. I used water and classic ink to create this soft pastel card. Paper: watercolor paper. I used a variety of flower punches from my collection to create the multi-layered flowers. This card has so much dimension and is meant for hand delivery! 🤣 Use your stash! #stampinup #useyourstash #cardmaker #cardmakingreel

When I think of pastel I think watercolor. For this month our 'Use Your Stash' theme is PRETTY PASTEL. I pulled out the 'Good Greetings' stamp set and heat set the large greeting with white emboss powder. This greeting is so pretty. Then, I water painted a peachy color over the top for a soft & airy look. For the flowers I painted a few pink and peach multi-color washes and then punch out using various flower punches. The flower centers are irridescent rhinestones. Stampin' Up! products you can still purchase: Basic White cardstock, Fluid 100 watercolor Ink colors: Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Cloud Cover I can't wait to see what my friends pulled out from their stashes for this challenge. UYS is a monthly instagram hop where my friends and I get crafty and use what we have on hand to create a project around a certain theme. Use those supplies! Cute little chicks lined up in a row … I was eyeballing it to try my hand at stamp alignment with this new Stampin’ Positioner tool. My free form is not perfect, but it doesn’t matter in the end when you mount your card crooked. 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥 🤣 Stamp set is called Easter Basket and it’s on the last chance list.
