It's February 1st and time to highlight a few handmade Valentine cards. Groovy Love is this week's What Will You Stamp challenge set. This set coordinates with the large Sweetheart punch and is a fun and graphic choice for Valentine & Love projects. You can find this set in the annual SU catalog. I decided to freshen up this stamp set by pairing with cool new papers and accessories from the Occasions catalog. Here are three very different cards using Groovy Love. Thanks for stopping by and please visit the WWYS blog to see more projects using this set.
Paper Pumpkin - Dec 2015 kit
I am a little (like a month!) behind on posting my December paper pumpkin project. I must say, this is a darling kit!!! And I did finish it in time to make use of the January calendar page. I didn't really make any alternates with the December kit but did use many of the extra pieces and more to embellish the calendar pages a bit more. Now is the best time to get in on the fun of Paper Pumpkin. You can save money on a 3-month subscription and get a FREE Sale-A-Bration item. Yeah!
Ink Bug Swap - Rose Wonder / What I Love
Swapping time again! It's so great that my upline keeps me included in the team swaps. I know it requires much extra effort. Thanks Julie! Here is the Occasions mini product swap I made for the quarterly meeting. I'll take a quick snap of the return swaps when they arrive.
A cool thing about this project ... purchase the Rose Wonder bundle and you'll can earn the What I Love stamp FREE! Add basic paper and ink and you'll have all you need to recreate this card!
Bloomin' Love - WWYS #48
Just in time for Valentine card making! This week's What Will You Stamp challenge set is Bloomin' Love from the SU Occasions 2016 catalog. This is a beautiful set that happens to have a coordinating framelit. The images in this set layer and build nicely with each other. You've got to love perfect coordination of images! I've used the large heart framelit on both of these card projects. I created simple cards because the die is rather intricate and detailed. These cards can easily be recreated quickly. Stop by the What Will You Stamp blog for more inspiration from this beautiful set.
This second card uses a similar template as the challenge card from the Global Design Project. So many great stampers out there! Update - this card received a Special mention from the GDP. Woohoo.
In case you missed it ... below are a few of the samples created by Stampin' Up! that feature the Blooming' Love bundle. These and more can be seen in the Occasions mini catalog! Contact me today if you'd like a catalog.
