Beautiful Ride is one of my new favorite stamp sets from the Stampin' Up! Occasions mini. I love the BUG! I have always wanted to drive a vintage VW. I wanted to make birthday cards with this set so I paired it with the It's My Party collection and the verse from Balloon Celebration. I watercolored the BUG and opted to us the Mambo and Mint for these two cards. The Curry colored bug I used on this card here.
Stamping is the best. I love it. Stamping with new product is absolutely the best! And stamping with FREE new product is even better! I never get a chance to make 'girly' cards. Nicholas' friend celebrated turning 6 and he said she loves princesses. Hopefully this card was a perfect fit. I paired a discontinued with a new sale-a-bration set. Perfect.
The photos are not the best as I snapped quickies with my phone before we delivered but the idea is documented.
