TGIF Challenges: TGIFC225 - ALL ON BLACK Challenge

ALL ON BLACK - what a fun challenge for this weeks TGIF Challenge. There are so many fantastic new Halloween products coming out on September 1 from Stampin’ Up! that I had to play with a few for this challenge. The stamp set is called The Raven. I added a bunch of sparkling black embossing powder to give the details on the black card stock a little punch.

I am a HUGE fan of Halloween and decorating for Halloween. This little 6x6 piece of decor will be a nice addition to my Halloween decorations.

TGIF Challenges: TGIFC223 - Color Challenge using Dino Days

We are on vacation this week but I did have time to sneak in a card for this week’s TGIF color challenge. FUN and bright colors call for a FUN and bright card. I decided to breaking out the new Dino Days stamp set to help me make this RAWRsome card. HAHA. It’s super fun but I will admit I had a hard time stamping these images. My ink pads are just too juicy. Crafter problems.

One cute detail on this card I wanted to point out … I used basic pinking shears to create a border to match the spike in the purple dino. Fun, fun! :)

TGIF Challenges: TGIFC222 - Shaker card!

Shaking it up with this weeks TGIF Challenge. I’ve made two shaker cards using the Capture the Good stamp set. I don’t make many shaker cards but they are alway fun when I do. The first card uses the camera lens as the shaker window. The second card has a little polaroid window.

Hard to decide on a favorite card, I think i’m leaning toward the polaroid. Sorry for the short and sweet post today. We are on our way to Utah to visit family so I had to make some blogging sacrifices. No time. Lol.

TGIF Challenges: TGIFC221 - Christmas in July

Do you make Holiday projects in July? Sometimes the fancy strikes. ‘Christmas in July’ is this TGIF Challenge for this week. The Stampin’ Up! Holiday mini catalog is just around the corner but since we don’t have those new Holiday products to play with yet I thought I would take a stab at creating a Christmas card using Waterfront stamp set and the A Wish for Everything bundle. It turned out pretty cute!
