Sneaking in a project under the wire. Today is the last day to play along with this week’s COLOR challenge for TGIF Challenges. I just had to make a card … these colors are awesome! Check out the TGIFC blog for more details.

Happy FALL! This is my most favorite time of the year! The weather is fantastic, it’s beautiful, and pretty much bug free. What’s not to love? Our theme for this week’s Global Design Project is FALL IN LOVE. #GDP159
My card features the darling little father image from the Making Everyday Bright stamp set and some gold embossing powder. I watercolored this image using an aquarium painter and a few drops of ink from various ink refills. The Tranquil Tide papers on the card background come from the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Papers. A full list of supplies can be found below.
Check out what the Global Design Project has created for this theme. The site is full of fabulous FALL inspiration. Want to play along with us? Post any new fall project you’ve created, details are on the GDP Blog. Thanks for visiting.

Apologies in advance for my brevity. I’m traveling and did not write this post before I left. Anyway… the Global Design Project has an awesome sketch for you to work with this week. It’s a fun template and I cannot wait to see how you interpret it. #GDP158
My card features the candy cane heart image from the sweet season stamp set and a 3x4 card from the Santa’s Workshop Memories and More kit.

Dinosaur 1st birthday card using Birthday Backgrounds, Labeler Alphabet and No Bones About It - Stampin’ Up! - Charlet Mallett
It’s so much fun to create a custom birthday card for someone specific. This card was created for our cousins 1st birthday. The family call him Dano Dino so the dinosaur themed card was evident. We celebrated Daniel last night with all sorts of fun dinosaur themed foods and decor.
This card uses the colors for this week’s Global Design Project #GDP157. This color palette is so pretty and would look amazing with fall themed cards.
This card also features three stamp sets: Birthday Backgrounds, Labeler Alphabet and No Bones About it (retired). I hand cut a number 1 from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Papers and built the card from there. Full supplies can be found below.
