What I like about this card … the delicate but roughened texture around the Petal Pink card stock, the subtle layering and the somewhat monochromatic color combo. What do you like?

Global Design Challenge - GDP197 - Believe You Can

Hello all. Happy summer!

We are playing with color this week at the Global Design Project. This challenge feels very summery to me. The color challenge is to use Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray and Pear Pizzaz together on a project. Two of the colors are part of the 2019-2021 InColor family and so there are many papers and accessories available in these colors.

My card today features the Host set called Believe You Can. I’ve colored the THANKS image using Stampin’ Write and Stampin’ Blends markers. The image has been cut out using the Stitched Nested label dies. A full list of supplies can be found below.

Ready to play along? This might be a tough week to participate. Summer is hard but if you have a minute we’d love to see your creations.

TGIF Challenges: Color - TGIFC219 - Time for Tags

Hello! July is humming along. How can it be the 5th already?

The TGIF Challenges Design team has a color challenge for you to play along with. We are designing around three new InColors: Purple Posy, Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray. Because these challenge colors are from the 2019-2020 InColors there are many matching accessories that can be used.

The balloon stamp image is from the Host set called Time for Tags. I’ve colored it using Stampin’ Blends and punched out using the coordinating Timeless label punch. A full list of supplies can be found below.

Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Technique

HELLO friends! Welcome to the Creating Kindness Around the World Hop. CREATING KINDNESS: We are a group of paper crafters from around the world who have come together to inspire you to create kindness through cardmaking and paper.

Our theme this month is technique. Any and all techniques are fair game. You are sure to learn a few tricks on this hop. A couple of us have even made videos to share how-to tips.

My card features a simple watercolor wash with a floating flower that registers perfectly with the greeting underneath. I’m not sure if this technique has a name. Let me know if it has a name and you know what it is.
