Birthday Wit & Party Pandas for Global Design Project Color Challenge

How about a little Birthday Wit & Party Pandas for this weeks Global Design Project Color Challenge (GDP125)? I think both of these stamp sets look great with strong colors! The colors we are using for this challenge are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Dapper Denim. All favorites of mine.

I tried to create a little firework background for this card. Not sure how well the blue Brusho reads as fireworks ... what do you think? Does it look like a celebration or a big blue mistake? Ha! Party Pandas - What Will You Stamp

Happy Monday! My Party Panda stamp set has been getting quite a bit of use lately so I thought I'd mix it up a little. For this weeks What Will You Stamp challenge I created a Party Panda cake topper. These little guys look so cute and festive all lined up in a row.

This cake topper was super easy to make. First I free hand stamped these pandas in a row on slight curve making each paw overlap slightly. I used THICK Whisper White cardstock as the base for more support. Next I colored and then I cut it out. SO EASY. The skewers are attached to the back of the pandas with hot glue and the Happy Birthday sentiment is tacked on with a fine tip glue pen.

I had so much fun with these colors that of course I HAD to make a matching card. What do you think? This would make a fun theme for a kid party!

Happy Wishes - TGIFC145 Color Challenge

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! The TGIF Challenge team has an awesome color challenge using Blushing Bride, Sweet Sugarplum and Powder Pink. I played around and decided these colors would look great with an ombre effect. The end results sure made me happy.

This ombre look was created using a blending tool and Classic Ink pads. I embossed the Happy sentiment from Happy Wishes in white on Whisper White Card stock. Then I blended ink from the bottom of the card to the top of the Happy sentiment starting with the darker inks first. I added spots of colors to the die cut embellishments before applying them to the card.

A Good Day, Global Design Project - New Beginnings

New beginnings is a wonderful theme for creating. New home, baby, school ... endless options. The card I created for this weeks Global Design Project is for the new baby. Welcome little BABY.

This Welcome Baby card uses the sweet little bunny image from the A Good Day stamp set paired with a classic set, Badges and Banners. I also created a super simple matching tag to pop onto a gift. Full supplies are listed below. Get ready to get out those punches.
