Thankful Forest Friends - WWYS Challenge #37

November 9, 2015

Thankful Forest Friends is the challenge stamp set for this week's (WWYS) What Will You Stamp Design team. This set is so much fun to use and is easy to ink with Stampin' Write markers.

To create the pattern in the background I stamped the small leaf sprig over and over. I used a similar technique last week with my For all Things card. When I find a technique I like I tend to use it a few times. :)

Visit the What Will You Stamp blog to see all the goodness the team has created with this set. Want more inspiration? I created a pillowbox package with this set back in August. And a fun tag and card for a baby shower in September. This set is super versatile! Happy stamping.

For All Things - WWYS Challenge #38

November 2, 2015

The For All Things stamp set is an oldie but a goodie ... and it happens to be the challenge stamp set for this week's (WWYS) What Will You Stamp Design team.

This set was a favorite from card club last year. You can see more of this stamp set in action from previous posts here, here, and here.

On both of these cards I paired the For All Things stamp images with the poinsettia image from The Reason for the Season stamp set. I stamped the Poinsettia in Delightful Dijon and Mossy Meadow to mimic colors in a fall flower.

You can play along with us. Create a project using the For All Things stamp set and easily post a picture of your sample to the (WWYS) blog. Now, head on over to the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog and check out the rest of the Design Team's projects.

Full supply list for both projects below.

Acorny Thank You - WWYS Challenge #35

October 26, 2015

One of my most favorite sets from the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini just happens to be this weeks (WWYS) What Will You Stamp Design team challenge set, Acorny Thank You. This set is so easy to stamp, punch out, and make an awesome card.

I used the Grateful for You greeting from this set to create a pattern by stamping in full color Delightful Dijon and then stamping again before inking the stamp again. This stamp set is clear photopolymer and is easy to line up by eyeballing the spacing. I could have gotten more exact alignment if I had used the stamp-a-ma-jig but I liked the less than perfect results.

I hope you enjoyed this Acorny Thank You card. I am grateful you stopped by! You can play along too ... create a project and then post a picture of your sample to the (WWYS) blog.

Head on over to the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog and check out the rest of the Design Team's fabulous fall projects using the Acorny Thank You stamp set. Happy stamping!

Use your Stash! Specialty Paper Edition... I must admit I did a recent purge of paper and donated boxes and boxes to our local thrift store, so it was tricky to find "specialty" papers however I did happen to keep all colors of GLITTER and GLIMMER papers. This card was so simple to make. I choose some fun and bright glitter papers and cut into 1 inch strips for background. I pulled out the "Beautiful Butterfly" dies and altered the largest butterfly shape to create a full window opening to showcase all that glitter. Products you can still purchased from Stampin' Up! Banner Sayings Stamp set Three Banner Punch Basic White Cardstock I can't wait to see what papers my friends pulled out from their stashes for this challenge. UYS is a monthly instagram hop where my friends and I get crafty and use what we have on hand to create a project around a certain theme. Use those supplies!
