Happy Birthday Gorgeous - Charlet Mallett, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to another round of What Will You Stamp. Looks like my card didn't get posted to the WWYS blog but I'm so happy to share them with you anyway This week we are featuring the stamp set Happy Birthday Gorgeous. I'm fond of this set for many reasons, primarily because the set and companion framelit are so much fun to use. These tools make it really easy to throw together a unique birthday card. I have a few samples to share with you this week.

A little about the WWYS team ... we are a group of stamping friends always searching for new ideas for the stamps we own. YIPPEE! It's Friday. Seriously, thank goodness. This has been one long week. This weekend will be busy as well. Birthdays abound! Nicholas turned 7 and we are hosting a friend party, the goal is to hunt pokémon. Benjamin turns 15 Sunday. We are still debating how to celebrate his fun day. Anyway, onto birthday cards.

Welcome to another TGIF Challenge!!! And, it's a SKETCH challenge for you to work with. I love sketch challenges. Having a sketch to start with takes so much pressure off and makes putting elements together easy.

Today's card features the Happy Birthday Thinlet and Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set, two new favorites from the new catalog. I cut apart the 'Happy' from the thinlet and paired it with the stamped 'birthday' from Happy Birthday Gorgeous. This card also features two new In Colors, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist.

I love how the petal shape in the Petal Burst embossing folder matches so well with the leaves in this stamp set. This card also features two new punches! Yeah for new.
