Ray of Light - Stamp Review Crew

June 19, 2022

Hello friends! Welcome to the Ray of Light Edition of Stamp Review Crew. The moment I saw this background stop i knew I needed to add it to my collection. I love the design and can see it used with so many sets. I’ve taken a literal approach and paired it with the Lighthouse Point bundle. I love the the bright rays are all beaming from the lighthouse. I stamp the image in Versamark on Daffodil Delight and then heat set with clear emboss powder together that tone on tone and raised ink effect

What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month. All of our previous stamp set reviews are archived. Click here to see all of the hops!

He's All That - Stamp Review Crew

May 29, 2022

Hello friends! Welcome to the He’s all That Edition of Stamp Review Crew. It’s memorial Day weekend and I am late getting my project posted. Better late than never. This card uses fun products from the He’s All That Bundle and I pulled in a little Pacific Point one of the colors from TGIF Challenge. #tgifc371

This hop is short and sweet - we all must be in vacationland.

In the Moment - Stamp Review Crew

April 18, 2022

Hello friends! Welcome to the In the Moment Edition of Stamp Review Crew. I’ve just realized I did not include a sentiment when creating this card … I guess this card is can be used for any occasion.

The image has been stamped in versamark on kraft paper and then heat set with white emboss power. I colored using watercolor pencils. I like the look of the white image on kraft.

Blending Brush fail … but I made this card work in the end. The paper on the Specialty Embossed Cards has a little tooth and I could not get a smooth blend. Enter operation cover it all up. Haha. Masking and stamping! On this card I mask with tape, blend ink, then stamp, then stencil, and stamp again to create a layered scene.
