Hello friends! With so many new catalog products I find is hard to choose what to create with. What a fun dilemma. Do you have an immediate favorite new product?

Today I decided to play around and share a few ideas using the Varied Vases Photopolymer Bundle (item 148381), Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (item 146907) and a few new and returning ink colors.

YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST CARD:

Creating gradient backgrounds is quick and easy when you use Glossy White cardstock (item 144240), sponge daubers (item 133773) and your favorite classic ink. For this card I used Coastal Cabana Classic Stampin’ Pad (item 147097).  Simply add ink to the sponge dauber and apply to the Glossy cardstock in a circular motion until you achieve the desired density and look.  Start with heavy color on one side and blend to light.

Create added visual dimension on the stamped vases by picking up a little bit of extra ink only on the bottom corner of the stamped image. Use your Stamp-a-ratus or easily align the image directly on top the previously stamped image. The Varied Vases stamp set is photopolymer making it super easy to see where your stamped image is placed.

I love the look of the ink gradient background behind the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. These papers also look great layered over solid color cardstock, watercolor washes, patterned papers and custom stamped/embossed backgrounds. Use a full sheet or cut apart partial sections for the look you’d like. So many choices and more fun dilemmas!

HOPING YOUR DAY BLOOMS WITH HAPPINESS CARD:

The Varied Vases Photopolymer Bundleincludes the 34 piece Varied Vases Photopolymer stamp set (item 146644) and the Vases Builder Punch (item 147040). The Vases Builder punch cuts out various images in the stamp set however I decided to use the punch to create a large flower in Poppy Parade for this card. You’ll need to punch out six vases to create a similar flower.
