Stamp Review Crew - Cottage Wreaths

October 30, 2022

Hello and welcome to the Cottage Wreaths edition of Stamp Review Crew. I took a very clean and simple approach with this card using Cottage Wreaths. I paired the wreath image from this stamp set with the candy cane image form Jingle, Jingle, Jingle stamp set to created a sweet candy cane Christmas wreath.

What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are an international group of paper crafters that get together to feature and review a single Stampin’ Up! stamp set on the first and third Monday of each month. All of our previous stamp set reviews are archived. Click here to see all of the hops!

This card use the wreath die from the bundle and the Christmas greeting from the stamp set. The Santa hat and Candy Canes are also from Jingle, Jingle, Jingle. A full lit of supplies can be found below.

Ready for more inspiration using this stamp set? Next up is Cindy. Be sure to go through the hop to see what ALL my talented friends have created using this set. Thanks in advance for taking the time to comment. I love to hear from you.

Blending Brush fail … but I made this card work in the end. The paper on the Specialty Embossed Cards has a little tooth and I could not get a smooth blend. Enter operation cover it all up. Haha. This card is all paper. The scrapbook kit is called Keeping Traditions SWK. Card created for #gdp526 #stampinup #cardmakingreels

This blue and purple winter card uses tidbits from the Calm & Bright kit. I used the negative shape from the fir die cut to create a stencil and layered from there. Blend, stencil, stamp. Colors are Highlander Heather, Cloud Cover, & Lost Lagoon. @global_design_project #gdp525 #stampinup #calmandbright
Masking and stamping! On this card I mask with tape, blend ink, then stamp, then stencil, and stamp again to create a layered scene. It’s so satisfying to remove the masking tape… always a fun reveal.
