Seriously the Best Graduation Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Seriously the Best Graduation Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Global Design Project - GDP240 - Seriously the Best

May 11, 2020

HI Friends! We have a fun CASE challenge this week. Check out this super cute pinwheel card from Kerstin. I love pinwheels and it’s been forever since I’ve created one. I decided to take the pinwheel and build a graduation card.

A little about this card: The stamp set is called Seriously the Best. This set is MY MOST favorite from the Jan - June catalog. It’s a keeper. The pinwheels are created from the Follow Your Art designer papers.

It’s hard to be a senior during this time. So many experiences look completely different. Our Ben will be graduating by webinar in June. We are racking our brains to come up with creative ways to celebrate his accomplishments. Suggestions are welcome!

This blue and purple winter card uses tidbits from the Calm & Bright kit. I used the negative shape from the fir die cut to create a stencil and layered from there. Blend, stencil, stamp. Masking and stamping! On this card I mask with tape, blend ink, then stamp, then stencil, and stamp again to create a layered scene. It’s so satisfying to remove the masking tape… always a fun reveal.
