Merry Moose Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Merry Moose Card - Charlet Mallett, Stampin’ Up!

Global Design Project - CASE Challenge - GDP212 - Merry Moose

October 21, 2019

Finally got a chance to break out and play with the Merry Moose bundle. Hooray for a moose stamp set and coordinating punch. This bundle is a must have if you live in New England. Moose imagery is everywhere!

This card was created for Global Design Project case the designer challenge 212. #gdp212 We are CASE the talented current Stampin’ Up! Artisan member Manuela. She is amazingly talented and oh so inspiring.

I loved the classic and clean layout of her challenge card along with the asymmetrical design. I used those two elements as my jumping off point. I must say I love how the white trees and snow look stamped on the Crumb Cake cardstock. It’s fantastic and it made me realize I need to do this more.

Use your STASH - Bring on the Bling! This is the perfect challenge for this card. I have so many rhinestones and sparkly dots that it made perfect sense to use as many as possible to decorate this tree. My card is inspired by a recent wreath project

I have so many rhinestones and sparkly dots that it made perfect sense to use as many as possible to decorate this tree. My card is inspired by a recent wreath project @paulinespapier created using embellishments. Stampin' Up! products you can still purchase: Basic White cardstock Garden Green Ink Textured Notes dies Shimmer Star foam stickers I can't wait to see what BLING my friends have kept around and used for this challenge. Blending Brush fail … but I made this card work in the end. The paper on the Specialty Embossed Cards has a little tooth and I could not get a smooth blend. Enter operation cover it all up. Haha.
