AMAZING opportunity - Artisan Design Team ... APPLY NOW!

May 3, 2018

You all know how excited I was to be selected to be a part of the 2018 design team. In case you missed my excitement you can read about it here. I've pretty much talked about it non-stop since. It's been an amazing and rewarding experience (in so many ways) and the year isn't even half over!

MY PSA TO YOU - If you've ever considered applying to be a part of this team NOW IS THE TIME to apply.  Read more about the team and experience here. The Stampin' Up! home office is reviewing sample portfolios now.  There are a few requirements, primarily to be an active SU demonstrator and to maintain and online blog.  Is really easy to apply and you never know how it might shake out. I was shocked and delighted to be selected and never thought it would be in the cards. You all inspire me everyday and I know others see it too. APPLY!

In honor of the fun I've had I decided I would post a few of my very favorite card creations from the last 6 months including a summery new card (shown above). Some of these projects might be your favorites too, maybe. Upon review it seems l like flowers, and using WHITE. LOL.

THANK YOU for all the fabulous encouragement and support. Your comments, kind words, sharing and CASing of my creations means the world to me. You guys rock!

The 2018 Artisans have become fast friends and are such a warm and inspirational group. Take a look at the fabulous company I get to keep .... Hugs, Charlet.

Blending Brush fail … but I made this card work in the end. The paper on the Specialty Embossed Cards has a little tooth and I could not get a smooth blend. Enter operation cover it all up. Haha. This blue and purple winter card uses tidbits from the Calm & Bright kit. I used the negative shape from the fir die cut to create a stencil and layered from there. Blend, stencil, stamp. Colors are Highlander Heather, Cloud Cover, & Lost Lagoon. @global_design_project #gdp525 #stampinup #calmandbright
Masking and stamping! On this card I mask with tape, blend ink, then stamp, then stencil, and stamp again to create a layered scene. It’s so satisfying to remove the masking tape… always a fun reveal.
