Christmas Joy - Global Design Project

November 27, 2017

JOY! Christmas Joy is this week's theme challenge over at the Global Design Project.

This card is all about the paper! The paper bow, the paper leaf swigs and the wooden paper background. I love playing with paper and sometimes paper can be the stand alone star.

Hearts Come Home is a great Christmas stamp set and I used the 'Joy to the World' sentiment from this set on this card. I stamped this phrase directly onto the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper in Crumb Cake ink. The font used on this stamp makes it look like I hand wrote the phrase with a marker. Love it.

Details ... I added a little sewing stitch around the outside of the card. It's a nice little detail especially since I did not add any other embellishments to this card.

Are you up for this JOYFUL challenge? I can't wait to see what you create. Post your project on the Global Design Project blog and be sure to tag it #GDP115.  Happy stamping!
